I have used technology in the form of I-pads for students who cannot grasp, or follow along teacher directed instructions. They use as a resource to
to view and review the lesson instructions and watch video of the process. They are able to work at their own pace and view/rewind as many times as needed. They can also look at alternative process, strategies, technique and possible materials. When a student uses an I-pad I always supervise
at key intervals.

I have a child with ADHD. I allow him to get up and circle the room as needed. He also can visit the next class room but without talking. When he returns we talk about the steps in the process and review. He is able to review each time and the lesson is then chopped up into attainable successful parts.
