I had a student in a wheelchair. She was very capable other then being in a wheelchair. We made sure that one of our art tables was the correct height to accommodate her chair so she was able to participate in the lesson and the art making. |

I have several students who have ADHD in my classes. I have found that on-going assessments work for me so I can let these students know how they are doing during the lesson. I use a lot of praise as I walk around the room which encourages them to stay on task and do their best. |

The two strategies that could potentially be implemented in my classroom are task cards and cubing. Task cards would allow students to have more freedom in how they go about learning the unit content. Cubing would give students the ability to explore the subject matter in different ways which would give them a better understanding of the unit content. |
