I have a twin brother who are classfied in the group of deafness. They were attending the Photography class with me. They are quiet. I have provided speech to text function in their personal computers. I provided graphic examples or illustration for describing the terminology in the course. I also use the provide the equippments - camera -for them to explore during the lecture Students were able to follow to steps and manage to complete the assignment. I allowed them use essay to express their thoughts behind their photos or the special skills that they has employed in the assignment. The learning process for these students are sucessful. They have employed some special angles in presenting their Photography projects |

I use PowerPoint to help students with Autism to complete the 2D project about color. 1. provide a slide with different shape (circle , triangle , square).. Students to move the shape to create their Artwork. Then Students were told to fill in the shapes with (warm color Red , yellow , orange) for those when have complete this step. I will challenge them to use insert tool to pick the shapes that they like - fill in the color for the shape.
I also use the smart board to demonstrate and also let student to use the interact tool to try it on the smart board |

I have students with Autism. We provide different assessments(quizzes, portfolio, journal , ) throughout the years. Students may have a chance to present their strength in various assessment. Also. we have accommodation of time for students who need during quizzes . Also quizzes may be in form of multiple choices. Oral assessment during group discussion. In the portfolio , we accept video report or audio report. or collection of their drawings. We also accept both written / audio answer in journal assessment. |
