I have worked with students with Down Syndrome in my life and I know that they are excited when they can dance, sing, act, and express themselves in the classroom. I have always encouraged them to be themselves and have a positive attitude about who they are, they love this and enjoy my classes. I have seen their disabilities affect them in ways that they have no control over, such as other kids looking at them weird or making fun of them, but That is why I think it is so important to help them love themselves |

- Describe how two of the strategies discussed could potentially be implemented in your classroom. Be sure to identify the two strategies by name and describe how they could be used to address the needs of a student with a disability.
Two ways in which I could use these strategies in my classroom are the following: 1. Use Tiered Teaching, such as task cards to help students use theater techniques and Spanish Vocab so they can master concepts.
2. Use differentiated Instruction and give students steps for higher-level thinking so they can find out more about famous Hispanic artists by using acting. |

- Describe an example of adapted assessment you have successfully used in the fine arts classroom for students with disabilities.
I had a child that had ADHD in my classroom once, they could not sit still. So I adapted the assessments to be more physical, while still being able to assess their knowledge of the concepts. |
