Describe at least one way you have used technology to meet the needs of a student with a disability in your classroom. Be sure to describe the specific technology and how it assisted the student with a disability. Many times students with disabilities have difficulty grasping the concepts of introductory notes and rhythms. Using (CAI) I have set up e-centers to accommodate these students. I have used the letter strategy in combination with the Essentials of Music Theory software program. The program is fun and interactive, provides immediate feedback, and repetition when incorrect answers are provided. Students are able to move at their own pace and return to review information, which they have forgotten. |
