I have a student with dysgraphia who completes nearly all of his work on an iPad. In my art class, students were completing a directed drawing exercise. Do that this student could participate, I created a template for him with some basic guidelines drawn lightly in pencil. I also let him select a pencil grip to use in my class. The template was successful, and I think he even amazed himself at how well he completed the drawing.

I have a student who is hearing impaired in my first grade class. This student wears a hearing aid, and when he is in my classroom, I wear a wireless microphone/transmitter that communicates directly with his hearing aid so that he can understand what I am saying. In addition to wearing the transmitter, I use gestures and demonstrations, I make sure to face him while I am speaking so that he can read my lips, and then I check with him to make sure he has understood.
Use of Smartboard is also incorporated into daily lessons to project large images of artwork, show video demonstrations, and to display directions and rubrics for students to reference while working.

I have a student with dysgraphia. Due to his disability, he struggles to write information down on paper. At the end of my a project, students in may class complete an art reflection sheet on which they are asked to identify the media used in the project and write a few sentences to answer questions about the elements of art used in the project. For these reflection sheets, my student with dysgraphia is able to complete the sections that are multiple choice, but he dictates his answers to me for the written portions. As another option, he can also type his answers on an ipad.
