Artistic License III
(This exhibit is for art instructors who are practicing artists-not for students)
Since 2009, the Visual Arts Department has been conducting summer workshops led by master artists, funded by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs "Artistic License". This exhibit highlights artwork by visual art teachers who have participated in any summer workshops offered by Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Art Department/ DAEA or plan to attend one this summer.
Submit up to 5 pieces from one body of work created within the past two years. Any size, any medium.
Visual Art teachers who are currently practicing artists are invited to participate in this juried exhibit. To be considered, teachers must have completed a course in the VPA Summer Workshops anytime from 2009 to the present. Art summer workshops offered by Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Art Department or be currently enrolled in the Summer Art Studio Workshops 2013.
All artists must submit a portfolio of six to-ten recent artworks to have one or more pieces juried into the show. There are no size or media restrictions. The series must be thematically unified, or a cohesive body of work showing your strongest work.
