The Center for Fine Arts Education (CFAE) was incorporated on October 20, 2005. The CFAE was created to allow arts education organizations cost effective access to high quality professional administration. The signing founders in 2005 were:

  • James T. Perry, President and CEO
  • Frank R. Howes, Chairman
  • Jeanne W. Reynolds, Vice-Chairman
  • Lucinda G. Balistreri, Incorporator

When incorporated, the CFAE allowed both the Florida Music Educators Association and the Florida School Music Association to share the costs of professional staffing, building costs, technology development and maintenance, and other expenses.

Since this time the CFAE has gained the Florida Art Education Association and the Florida Network of Arts Administrators as clients. In doing so they are able to provide all four organizations with high quality administrative staff, professional meeting environments, a user friendly online presence, and a voice on Capitol Hill in Tallahassee.

Today, the professional staff at the CFAE continues to promote arts education through their daily work for each of their clients and are actively searching for more organizations to serve.
